Ray Layne MS, CHSOS, NREMT
Owner/Senior Instructor

Mr. Layne is a 14 Year veteran of the U.S. Army and former member of the 75th Ranger Regiment. Originally an Infantryman, he deployed to Iraq as a combat medic from 2014-2015. Ray's experience includes over 25 years as a firearms instructor (military and civilian), over 20 years in EMS (military and civilian), and over 10 years in the healthcare simulation space (military and civilian).
He is a member in good standing with 75th Ranger Regiment Association, U.S. Army Ranger Association, Special Operations Medical Association, life member of the National Rifle Association, United States Practical Shooting Association, the International Defensive Pistol Association, and 3 Gun Nation.

Ray currently holds certifications as an NRA Certified Instructor (pistol, rifle, and shotgun), Chief Range Safety Officer, Refuse to be a Victim Instructor, NAEMT Certified TCCC and TECC Instructor and TCCC Affiliate Faculty, Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician, and a Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist.
Rick Bernstein

Mr. Bernstein is a veteran of the U.S. Army and a former military police officer. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Military Police School, Protective Services Training Course, and the EVOC Course.

Rick currently serves as the Director of Security for a local church with more than 500 members. He provides invaluable knowledge on both civilian and military law enforcement standards, standard operating procedures, and tactics, as well as personal and physical facility security.
